Our Weekend!

Ashlee got a short release on Saturday so it was the perfect time for Ryhin and Vance to come and see her. All their cousins came with. We ate dinner and the kids played with Ash the entire time. It was a sad goodbye as both kids didn't want her to go but it was good for Ash to be able to see them. Ash looked really good! She has put on a couple lb's, 26 to be exact! She looks healthier, seems happier and overall the same old Ashlee that we all know. It was good to see her doing better and more like the way I remember her to be.

Payson Party

The kids Memorial Day was spent in Payson with quite a bit of their family. They had a really good time. The weather was perfect, rain and all! They got to see a lot of family that they haven't seen in a really long time, some that they haven't had a chance to meet yet! It was fun to see them play and have a good time. Aside from visiting with family, eating good food and playing all day, they also got to go bowling. It was a funny to see them concentrate so hard that their tongues were sticking out. It was a good time all around.

Lake time!

Tuesday late afternoon was spent at the beach at Canyon Lake. The kids had a blast and played until the sun went down. At first, Ry was a little hesitant to get into the water but she was the first one to brave it. Vance went in with Kirk but quickly ran off after he went in a bit. Within about 15 minutes of getting in all the kids ended up in the water. Lisa brought some water toys for the kids to play with too. The girls were pulling each other around on the little inflatable boogie board and boys played in the sand quite a bit. Darren isn't any many of the pictures as he was being a busy body, running from Michael to Kirk to the water. The little booger wouldn't stay in one place to play!
Once the sun went down, the kids changed from their suits to dry clothes and all sat on a blanket to eat hot dogs, pasta salad and watermelon. Jaycee was the last to finish of course! Then it was rice crispy treats for dessert followed by a couple isolated games of tag and hide and seek. It was great to see all the kids playing with each other with out a worry in the world!
